We're Here to 'Do Good'!!
Shine A Light NJ has provided services to the Jersey City community for years through grassroots efforts. Our motto is 'Doing Good' in the community, which encompasses our desire to give back and amplify the voices of those who are routinely denied the opportunity to be heard.
Now that we are officially established as a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we are geared to make a greater impact in the most impoverished sections of Jersey City. Shine A Light NJ is managed by a volunteer-led board, which is comprised of Black and Latina women who strive to improve and enhance the holistic health and wellness of the most marginalized populations in the city.

Join us for the Monticello Fall Festival!!
We've partnered with several community based organizations to provide a day of fun for everyone!!! There will be arts and crafts, pumpkin picking and plenty of treats! Costumes are welcomed!!
